WAX202 Devices can't connect

My WAX202 used to work fine, but after I moved house, It doesn't seem to work. I can't connect to it on most devices, my phone being the exception. My quest 2, however, cannot connect, despite the fact that it shows up as an option. It is connected via ethernet, but doesn't have the internet light on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Milo

How is the Internet connection (supposed) to be established from your new house?

How was your WAX202 configured - in router mode, or as a plain wireless access point?

The wireless SSID from the WAX202 will be on air (I guess this is what you talk about the option on this Quest 2), even if it does not provide or allow Internet access.

The WAX202 does have not less than four Ethernet ports, one with an amber marking as WAN, three LAN.

So ensure your whatever makes up your Internet connection (Cable box, Fiber CPE, ....) is connected to the WAN Port.

With your unspecified phone apparently allowing a wireless connection to the WAX202 (you might have to confirm to keep the connection in absence of an Internet connection), open the mobile phone Web browser, and enter https://aplogin.net/ - after confirming the "insecure" connection, and under the premise your phone is not using some kind of secured DNS  - you should be able to access as shown on the WAX202 — WiFi 6 AX1800 Dual Band Wireless Access Point support homepage.

In case you can't figure out anything else, with the WiF connection established to the WAX202, and share the details available from:

On Apple iOS phones, under Settings -> WiFi ... check the (i) for IP Address and Router (technically the default gateway IP address).

On Android phones, in the Internet connection,  click on the cogwheel to see IP address and gateway details.

        Hi, Thanks for replying!

It turns out my phone hasn't been able to connect, I don't know if I connected to the wrong network before or something like that.

The ethernet cable goes to the WAN port on the router, which is connected to a switch. The ethernet cable works fine when it runs directly to a different device, so I don't think the port or cable is the issue.

I connected my PC to the AP (It decided to work now), but couldn't access APlogin as I didn't have internet connection

        Thanks for any help though,

        Milo
