I purchased mine a few years ago and it worked great. Moved to an area that had fiber so no longer needed to use it. Due to its cost it was put back in original box and stored in a closet. Moved back to a cable internet area and was shocked to find the units red power light constantly on with an audible ticking sound emitting from the unit. Upon further investigation it seems there have been hundreds if not thousands of this model modem doing the same thing. Has a class action lawsuit been explored?
