C3000-100nas and 3400v3 readyshare drive

192.168.0.1
I have c3000-100NAS(modem/router)that doesn't recognize my USB drive and has only 2 LAN ports.

192.168.1.1
Installed 2nd router wndr3400v3 which has 4 LANS as needed and also recognized my USB drive.
Turned off DHCP on 2nd router.

How can I access USB drive connected on 2nd router?

Re: C3000-100nas and 3400v3 readyshare drive

I found alternative.

was able to connect to it by MAPPING drive instead of having it appear under Network.

find out what IP was given to the 2nd router by the primary router, in this case it was 192.168.0.70(NOT factory 192.168.1.1).

Map drive U: with \\192.168.0.70\USB_storage

Yes 2nd router is already in AP mode.

both 192.168.1.1 and Readyshare only discoverable IF connection between 1st and 2nd router is disonnected.

Maybe i could use the 2nd router as primary?  Is that possible since the primary now is a Modem/Router.

Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

Re: C3000-100nas and 3400v3 readyshare drive

those are both pretty old and low performing devices.

Might be time to start checking into something from the current generation or just prior generation.

You'll see some solid performance improvements upgrading from wireless N devices.
