C6900 High Speed Cable Modem Router - Downstream light blinking
i just hooked up my new C6900 high speed cable modem router to replace xfinity's modem router. the downstream light on the modem router keeps blinking. i believe it should be solid green but it is blinking green. how do i fix the issue?
Reaching netgear support on phone is next to impossible as they have extensively long wait times. so reaching out to people in this forum. help will be appreciated. thanks.

Re: C6900 High Speed Cable Modem Router - Downstream light blinking
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute them back ON.
Make sure it meets there ISP service speed requirements for the speed package you pay for.
