C7000V2 - Need "Ethernet Connection" as Input to Cable modem/router instead of Coaxial cable
Dear Friends,
I had purchased the cable router modem(C7000V2) in 2019 in US & which has "Coaxial Cable" as Input. I carried this to another country as part of relocation. In my country we have ethernet connection as the Input & not cable input. Hence I Will not be able to use the mocem/router in my country. I tried all the shops to see if we can find converter for this. However I couldn't find a solution for this issue.
Kindly advise.
Thanks

There is no option to use a cable modem/router in router only mode.
DSL modem/routers do have the WAN ethernet port on the back needed for this feature. .

That's just a couple of messages that confirm that you have a useless device.
If you want to confirm this with someone who owns a cable modem/router, you might get more help in the appropriate section for your hardware.

Thanks for the quick response Guru & Appreciate it. I thought converter(Coaxial to RJ45) may work & now found that it is not possible option.

Afraid not. Completely different signals.
