How do I configure port forwarding on my CM1150V cable modem? I must have done it before but I have forgotten how. The Nighthawk app doesn't seem to provide support for this modem. I have also tried connecting to 192.168.100.1 (Netgear genie) but cannot find port forwarding there.

The router is a PC running Ubuntu 22.04. I forgot that I did the NAT there and allowed certain non-well-known ports through. I used to do it via the modem when I was using Comcast’s gateway. This is a much better solution because I have much finer control of my network.

Your CM1150V is a cable modem only with a phone emta. No capability to configure for port forwarding or for access via the Nighthawk mobile application.
What is the name brand and model number of the router you have connected downstream of your CM1150V? The downstream router is where the port forwarding configuration comes in to play.

Re: CM1150V Howto Do Port Forwarding
CM series modems are and have only been modem only units. No built in router here.
C series modems are gateway modems with built in routers.
