Re: CM1200 losing speed
So…..I decided to invest in a new CM2000 since the 1200 was about 8 years old. Turns out the new CM2000 is doing the same thing so I logged a case with Netgear support. They looked at the logs and noticed that there were critical T3 and Sync errors (which seemed to coincide with the speed drops). In addition in looking at the connection page they saw upstream and downstream channels with power values outside of proper ranges. Therefore, I am going to have Cox back out to reexamine cabling, even though in two previous visits they say it’s fine. This is both frustrating and exhausting. For others who might be looking at this string, don’t assume it’s your equipment. More to come if this ever gets resolved with cox.

Re: CM1200 losing speed
Why we asked for the Cable Connections and Events log pages.
Good Luck.
