I recently purchased a Netgear CM600 to replace my Arris SB6190 due to the whole Puma 6 chipset debacle:
Anyways, I noticed on my CM600 that the ethernet light blinks green always - even when nothing is plugged into the ethernet port on the modem. Is this expected/normal? My modem has firmware V1.01.05

Cox updated firmware on my modem to V1.01.06 overnight - I notice that now when ethernet cable is unplugged, the light stops blinking. It seems to only blink with activity now.
