Can someone please tell me whats the difference between c6300 vs c6300bd
are they both modem router combo, if yes whats the techincal difference and whichone is better, i have to buy for my comcast connection

You read about the C6300BD and the C6300. At first glance, the C6300BD appears to support higher cable speeds (up to 1.2 Gbps vs 680 Mbps), but the ISP would need to support it. The C6300BD also has faster 2.4 GHz support (up to 600 Mbps vs 450 Mbps), but this also requires suitable support from the Wi-Fi client (specifically, the client must support 3x3 spatial streaming).
You can find Comcast's list of supported modems here. Only the C6300 is listed.

C6300BD is not supported for retail customers. They are specific for ISP to supply to their customers.
We supply them to one north american and one australian ISP
