Changing Advanced settings after VPN has been set up.

This is for a Netgear Nighthawk CAX30 (AX2700)

The VPN GUI - Mac Instruction page has this at the bottom:

    Note: if you want to make any change in Advanced Configurations section, please make the changes before you download the configuration files in Step 3.

I currently have my Advanced settings like I want them but if / when I set up my VPN, should I decide I want to change something in the Advanced settings, what is the process?

In particular, I will eventually want to change my DNS servers.

(Also, I tried to find the right place to post this but there is still not a fitting entry in the "Model" slot of this form)

You can make changes as needed or as you see fit. Just make the changes then apply them. Saving the Configuration is to help save the current state of the modem to a backup file. Should a reset be needed on the modme, uploading this configuration file from back up will save time and put all the setting back in place with out having to manually re-enter them.
