How can I open port 80

Question

My modem is CM500V-1staus.I can port forward to any other port, but not port 80.I called optus, they said they only block port 25.&nbsp;Does anyone know how to open port 80?&nbsp;It works at my laptop(inside the network) with the public ip, but not external servers, for example,from office call to my public ip, port 80 is blocked.&nbsp;Cheers,John

CM500V-1STAUS is a bridged modem. It has capability to block the ports unless Optus themselves blocks using docsis L2 or L3 filters or firewalls.

TPLink, I don't think this is the router problem, before I switch to optus,(or&nbsp; switching to this modem). I have no issue at all for port 80.

I meant "It has NO capability" ..&nbsp;&nbsp;you might to check with Optus as this is specific product customized for Optus according to their requirements.&nbsp;&nbsp;also, test with device directly connected behind CM.

Thank you for your reply, I asked optus, they said they only block port 25, they ask me to ask Netgear...
