CM400 is not a WIFI device. you should have some other router. Ideally factory reset the router.

Re: My CM-400, and I lost the orginal SSID, can't connect to my Fire Stick TV device!
Sorry I mis-typed, I need to get the SSID to access my CM-400 (netgear) cable modem (I have MAC address, & S/N), to allow my Firestick, to access my AC-1200 (netgear) Wi-Fi router...to my cable modem and the internet!
Can I get assitance to acommplish my objective?

I don't see how. An SSID is a wireless-network concept. A CM400 is
a cable-TV modem, only, and has no wireless-network interface.
What, exactly, would you like to do? What is your "my objective?"?

My objective is to use the serial number and mac address to recover the SSID and interface my Firestick to my wi-fi router.

A CM400 is not your "my wi-fi router".
> [...] my AC-1200 (netgear) Wi-Fi router [...]
"AC-1200" (or "AC1200") is a speed, not a model number. Ever
helpful, Netgear product packaging emphasizes speeds like "ACxxxx", but
that's not the model identifier. Look at the product label.
An SSID is the name of a wireless network, which the router typically
broadcasts, so what, exactly, are you trying to "recover"?
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number,
and look for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Read. Look for
"Types of Logins".
> [...] and the DEFAULT username and password do not work!
Which "the DEFAULT username and password"? If you're trying to use a
web browser to access the router's web site, and the default credentials
("admin", "password") don't work, then the usual solution is a settings
reset. Look for "Factory Settings" in the User Manual. Some devices
(and firmware versions) claim to offer a lost-password recovery scheme,
which might work, but which seems to generate many complaints in these
forums. (None of which has anything to do with an SSID.)
Still a mystery would be why you need to do any of this to "interface
my Firestick to my wi-fi router."
