Netgear AC1900 mod.c7000v2 port forwarding

I need to open some ports to allow a wifi device to commutate with manufacturer . I have downloaded the instruction fom netgear support . Not able ( or not sure ) whar ip`s they asking for . Keep getting errors when numbers are put in.

Here are the directions I have https://kb.netgear.com/000031585/How-do-I-add-a-custom-port-forwarding-service-on-my-NETGEAR-router?...

what errors are you getting?

Its tough to help without info/photos/better descriptions of what you're putting in and attempting to do

It  might be easier if you provided a few more details about that.

Explain the problem you want to fix rather than what you have been told might be the solution .

What is this wifi device and why does it need messing around with ports?

That is not a typical requirement.

You never know, someone may have turned up here before with the same challenge.

You're right. its not in your lan.

In your one photo, you're setting your port forwarding settings for 192.168.51.1

But the next photo is showing your router's lan range is in the .0 range (192.168.0.***)

Re: Netgear AC1900 mod.c7000v2 port forwarding

tough to tell you have to fix it because its usually a bit specific to your device.

You should be port forwarding to devices in the same subnet. So if you're router is on the 192.168.0.1 lan address, the devices should be 192.168.0.*** where the *** is the device specific ip address. You'd need to be using that address to forward to the device

How does the supplier of this widget tell you to configure the port?

Re: Netgear AC1900 mod.c7000v2 port forwarding

Netgear has a link that I used to open  the ports they ( Generac ) uses to communicate with the Generator. Generac helped open these   , They are still closed according to port checker I used  on line . Netgear wants to charge to help me.

What generac device do you have (model)?

Their website instructions are a bit vague. Basically on their site, you connect your phone to the generac device's wifi and then go through the app setup to connect it to your router.

Where is it failing in the process?
