Nighthawk CAX80 disconnecting internet @ exactly same time every day
I am having a really hard time because sadly I cannot figure out what is causing this issue - ISP, Cable Modem, etc
My cable modem shuts off internet (not it does not shut down) every day @ 10AM
Xfinity is going to come to my house because they saw a low upstream signal level and want to check it at the house.
I am NOT CONFIDENT this is the issue because how would the signal drop at exactly the same time every day and recover 5 min later every day???
I need suggestions on how to approach this.... I thought of asking Xfinity to leave a cable modem for 2 weeks as a test only and then if my Nighthawk is the issue I will take it in for a replacement from Best Buy.
History:
Cable tech @ house ~ 5 weeks ago due to intermittent slow speeds and I still have that issue (anywhere between 8mb / 450mb down), He said he fixed it by rerouting my cable modem cable (removing a spark arrestor I had inline), Yet I am still having speed issues. This is not the issue the tech is coming to my house saturday for.
Phone Reps saw low upstream levels and suggested I have a tech look it over. I can see that being a problem but I CANNOT see it causing a loss of internet each day at the exact same time.
Thoughts from the brainiacs here??
Eric

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status page.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

Got lots of Correct and un-correctables that should be zero. Something the ISP needs to look into.
