R6250: Email Notification: Valid or Phoney?
Received email notice about an upgrade to protect Netgear from e.netgear.com. Is this valid or a setup to trouble?

Re: R6250: Email Notification: Valid or Phoney?
Wrong forum but it's legit. Check your router for update notifications or go to the R6250 section of the Netgear support pages for info. My R7000 needed the update, too.

Unware of that site...But, as always, if unsure , stay away till you know other wise

Re: R6250: Email Notification: Valid or Phoney?
A good thing to do is to hover over the address to ensure it's the same as what's displayed or view the header details. Spam will usually have a displayed address but a different one when viewing the details.
