firmware update V10.01.07
I have a CM1000V2, upgraded to firmware V10.01.07 via my IPS. Now I can't access the modem GUI via wifi on any browser, any device. Was directed to use Ethernet between PC and modem. This worked, but I'm not going to do that every time I need to log into my modem. Any ideas?

Try 192.168.100.1?
What is the brand and model of the host wifi router connected to the modem?
Try a factory reset and setup from scratch. Press the reset button for 10 seconds then release.
If this still happens, contact that ISP about this.

orbits rbr50. 192.168.100.1 does not work. time out via browser. using terminal, i get one valid ping response, then endless Request timeout for icmp_seq. reset to factory settings, still not connecting via wifi. was there a change in v10 that would have caused this?

Take the RBR50 out of the mix and just connect 1 wired PC to the modem.
Try a factory reset and setup from scratch. Press the reset button for 10 seconds then release.
If this still happens, contact that ISP about this.

Any progress on this?

- Read my linked post.
Create a static route. Worked perfectly for me.
I'm assuming they removed the direct route we're used to on purpose. I'm not waiting around for them to restore it.- FURRYe38Guru - Experienced User
