logging into router
I set up a password that works with my email to gain access to my "profile". I try to login in with routerlogin.com. none of the combinations of admin, password, my email i use with my profile and my password i set up gain access. after fialing ten or so times i get the security questions: i answer the last one and hit enter and nothing. zero. i tried both chrome and internet explorer. so, wtf?

It isn't at all clear what you are trying to connect to and how you are doing it.

What is this "profile". Something on MyNetgear?
That has nothing to do with connecting to the wifi, your Internet service or the router's controls.
The default password for routerlogin.com, which has nothing to do with your email, wifi or ISP, is password. You can change it after you have got into the modem's controls.
The other password on the back of the modem is the default wifi password. You can also change that in the router's browser interface.
