C6300 remote manager doesn't work

Turn on remote management with port 8554 but when access router from internet got This page isn't working xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx didn't send any data err_empty_response
Hope some one can help

Hi all,
Thanks for your help and suggestion, it 's working now after I change to port 9090 . I'm not sure what is on port 8080 and 8554 that cause the problem. Anyway thanks again .

That's a bit thin on details.
Have you been through all the setup steps needed for remote management?
Tried a different port?

Yes I have been turn on remote management ,allow remote access by every one and port 8554 in Advanced Setup-->Remote Magement. Yes I try port 8080 got same problem .I will try to post it in Cable Modems & Routers like you suggestion .

There are still large gaps in your explanation of what you are doing and where it goes wrong.
Detailed explanations are much more useful than terse "when access router from internet" which could mean many things.
Have you considered "anywhere access"?

Try it (same URL) from a system on your LAN?
What is the actual URL that you used? If you're worried about
revealing secrets (like, say, a public IP address), then the top half of
the address, "a.b" out of "a.b.c.d", would satisfy most of my curiosity.
"err_empty_response" sounds to me like bad modem+roiuter firmware,
but many things are possible.

I used URL below to access remote access my router
http://my-modem-public-ip:8554
Nighhawk app doesn't support my C6300 so I can not use Anywhere Access .
I used the advanced Setup of Netgear Genie to turn the Remote Management on .
Let me try a different port see if it works .

Which part of "actual" was unclear to you? Does that
"my-modem-public-ip" match what the C6300 says its WAN/Internet IP
address is?

The public IP address as seen on the router Internet/WAN port is the same as a "google what is my ip address" shows?
