I am attempting to connect my modem to Comcast service which fully supports the modem supposedly. Unfortunately after doing some searching I found that my modem is on firmware version v504B and the preferred firmware versions is v504F. There were issues concerning v504B back when Comcast upgraded their system to support ipv6.
Netgear has told me this update is provided by the ISP while Comcast directs me to the manufacturer. I can apply the update myself I just need a copy of it. Does anyone have a suggestion for where this could be downloaded, or could anyone make a copy available?
