I have several AC1900 Cable Modem Routers, that I need to convert to access points that will be attached to an ethernet cable. I still need the wifi ability. If I turn off the DHCP, will I then be able to use as a wireless AP, with an ethernet cable plugged like a bridge?

Thank you. It will be next week before I can try this. I will report back.

Re: Can I convert a C7000 cable modem router to a bridge/
Turning off DHCP, and using the LAN ports worked. Now I am a happy camper. One note, the lights on the front that denote internet connection up/down and internet, do not function now. So just working as a wireless AP and switch.
