Manually update FW on the router if this isn't seen on the routers web page:

NOTE: Use a wired PC and web browser to update router FW. If continued problems are seen after a FW update, it's recommended to try a factory reset and setup from scratch with out loading any saved configurations from backup files.

Since the factory reset did not resolve the multi-gig port issue, I must return this product.
The port got worse after the factory reset!
I'm having the same issues with reboots post-update.
From what I was seeing in the logs, it appears to be some issue with the firmware detecting DOS LAND Attacks falsely until it locks up and reboots.
After downgrading the software, the issue disappeared.
Upon re-installing the .7, the issues happen again.
- OmnitronGuideNG definitely needs to do something about this ASAP, 2.1.3.7 is broken, period:

Did you factory reset the modem and and setup from scratch after v.7 Fw was applied?
What ISP are you using?

I'm on COX, had them come out and check and they couldn't find any issues with any of the wiring.
I did do a factory reset as well before the manual .7 update.
