cm 400 amber upload / download lights
my upstream and downstream lights just turned orange.. i called netgear they said it was my isp, i called my isp and they said its netgears problem

When those lights go orange it means only 1 up and down stream channels are being locked so it is some type of issue with the internet connection with the ISP you will have to contact them and ask for higher internet support.

What about only the up light goes amber......Charter is no help...I have asked for supervisor and they say netgear.....Netgear say Charter...Let's all throw Sh6T and see who gets dirtier while a customes suffers throught losuy service.

It means only 1 upstream channel is being locked onto so this is a issue with the ISP you will have to contact them.

after some back and forth i finally got my isp to send out a tech and everything came up perfect on their meter.. they suggest my router has either failed or some kind of compatibility with the firmware... i seem to have the latest issued firmware.. do i just buy a new modem? not sure what else to do
