@Help- Wifi chewing up data
Hi, can anyone help? We're using the Nighthawk M2 and it's using up way too much data too quickly. 36GB used in 5 days with minimal office type use with 2 computers and 1 mobile using wifi whilst working from home remotely in regional Victoria. Also watching one Netflix movie at night via the main TV. Telstra support isn't helpful. We're on a 80GB plan. Maybe we will just have to up the plan.
Will Data Offloading help or is there something else going on?
Not a tech head 🙂
Thanks

Re: @Help- Wifi chewing up data
Netflix can dynamically change how much data it uses based off its connection and the tv your using. So if you're using a 4k tv, it can use quite a bit. even a 1080p tv can use a bit. A 1080P tv can use 2-3gig an hour on average. If its a higher refresh rate, that can increase. A 4k can use 3-7gig an hour. So a typical 2hour movie coule be using between 4-14gig depending on your tv. That can chew through data quickly.
