MR1100 Nighthawk have a ping watchdog feature, or way to daily reboot them?
I'm a physical layer installer. My IT brass send me these MR1100 to setup for RARE instances our AT&T from street copper/fiber fails, the MR1100 should p/u the load immediately & most times I learn failover to cellular/MR1100 was successfuly, HOWEVER not always the case.
As was the case yesterday I found a loafing MR1100 not blinking on my router's port 9...I repowered it, no joy, removed the battery and had then connection joy, so, Other devices have a ping watchdog that I set to ping 8.8.8.8 and then after a period of timeout, it will reboot itself, or I'd be happy to place a daily timer on it, but with a battery in it - no repower joy from a simple $5 walmart timer...any suggestions out there for me? A tech told me yesterday the MR1100 reboots daily automatically but could not be seen in the manual....advance thanks...Jay

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Mobile Router products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Mobile (AC, L and M series) routers. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:
