NightHawk
trying to connect, showed connected to router but stated "no internet access" the router was old so I replaced it with new nighthawk....same issue.....I had internet service if ethernet cable plugged directly into computer. I plugged my laptop in and went online to Netgear and they stated a service rep would call me, is that "NORMAL"? or was I spoofed from a corrupt computer? I let the "tech" named Brian take over my compter........he stated he needed to look at and update my drives............half way through this "SALES PITCH" I get cold feet about being netgear or spoofed......well, now my laptop wont turn on.......I have the ethernet cable plugged directly into desktop so I have internet access.......
was the called geniun NETGEAR service tech? would they be able to repair laptop? would I be charged for their service? all Brian wanted to do was sell me a firewall to protect my WHOLE network....any thoughts, direction, of help is great.
