AC1200 model No. D6200 Latency/Performance Issues
Help Needed!!!
I have an D6200 AC1200 Router however, on initial setup my speeds and latency are on a par with my previous router however, after a couple of minutes the router becomes unuseable with latency >2000ms and speeds well below 3Mbps...
Extrealy frustrating as I have downloaded the latest firmaware and this made it worse so i have rolled back the the factory default but remain with the above issue.:-(
My N300 runs fine, please can any share simiilar experiences and how they resolved?
Regards
Dan

Hello Dan1982
I would try to adjust your MTU see if that improves the issue.

Re: AC1200 model No. D6200 Latency/Performance Issues
Hi all.
I am experiencing the same issue as described before.I updated the firmware, reset to factory, checked the MTU packages that is set to 1492 (limited by the provider connection settings).
The router was working perfectly.About 300mbs wifi and 700mbs cable.Now I hardly get 40mbs 😞
Any other suggestion?
Thank you

Hello marcolo
Did anything change in your setup when the speed dropped?

I did not change any setup.I'll try once more to reset the device and hope it will work.
