Cant connect DGND3700 to orange broadband UK

I have just bought one of these routers and spent 3 hours on the phone with orange trying to get it to connect to the internet.

I cant get it to work at all.

I have the correct login and password required by Orange, but it wont find an IP and the internet light remains red.

Ifi set a fixed IP which Orange say I shouldnt, I can get agreen light on the internet but it still wont connect.

Can anyone help with this please?

As long as VCI/VPI is set correctly , user/pass is right then all should work unless Orange uses some branded firmware that only works with there provided devices...

I spent about 3 hours on the phone to orange and they didint have any problem with it being netgear so I dont think that is the problem.

In the UK the VPI VCI should be:
VPI = 0
VCI = 38

Thanks in the ADSL settings of the router - tell it not to autodetect, tell it to use MUST USE ADSL.
