D500 BRIDGE MODE
HI,
I am using d500 netgear adsl modem. now i want put to bridge mode for that modem. how to configure bridge mode in d500 modem. pls help me guys

Hello Harikrish
What you would need to do is log into the D500 click advanced and then setup then LAN setup then uncheck Use Router as DHCP server. Now you should be able to plug your other modem into the WAN port of the D500 and use it as a AP.

Hi,
You are saying is wireless bridging. but i ask is we are using static ip in our modem. now we purchased firewall that why i am asking. put bridge mode for modem. then only we used that staic ip directly in our firewall

Hello Sir,
I Have One Static IP.I Want Use that Ip in my firewall. there is no Bridge Mode Option in D500 netgear. But that Option is having In TP-Link. if you bridge the TP-link that will make it just a Modem and have no router functions which will work if you plug that into the D500 and use that as your router.
