D6400 Firmware update email

Had an email Saturday morning, "Important Security Firmware Update from NETGEAR!"

Logged  into D6400, went to Administration/Router Update, clicked on "Check"; result "No new firmware version available."

Went to website to dowload update, there is no update available. Current Firmware Version of D6400 is; "V1.0.0.88_1.0.88 ".

Latest firmware version on website isl "V1.0.0.88_1.0.88 ".

So what was the point of the email?
