D700 constant disconnect and dropout

D700 constant disconnect and dropout
Connecting in Australia to NBN via Mate Communicate.
CONSTANT dropouts and dropoffs, and absolutely no attempt to reconect - only solution is constant hard restarts.
Have factory reset multiple times and upgraded to latest firmware V1.0.1.78_1.0.1.
If anything this seems to make the dropouts worse.
Spoke to ISP provider and changed WAN preference to 'must use Ethernet WAN' but that hasn't helped .
MTU = 1492
Any ideas? Otherwise it's goodbye Netgear for good.
And does anyone from Netgear ever assist on these forums, or is it only the community?

Presumably, you mean something like "frequent", not "CONSTANT".
LED indicators? Other behavior (like, say, browser access to its
management web site)? Any useful information at all?
