D7000 DHCP option 60 and 61 missing
Nighthwak AC1900 Modem Router Model D7000.
Trying to manually enter the "settings for a VDSL Internet connection that does not require a login" - to log in to SKY fibre in the UK
The manual (p.62) says we should see DHCP Options ( option 60 & option 61) at the bottom of the screen.
They do not appear on my screen.
I am using firmware 1.0.0.38_1.0.1
Any ideas?

Re: D7000 DHCP option 60 and 61 missing
Hi,
it is the same on FIrefox, ie11 and Safari i.e. missing
It is currently running OK connected to BT fibre - I am switching to SKY later.
I might try reverting to lower firmware and factory settings...

Re: D7000 DHCP option 60 and 61 missing
Have you chosen Sky as the ISP and selected VDSL(PTM) in transfer mode?
Once you have Sky Fibre the install wizard picks up all their settings perfectly anyway (including Option 61), so I shouldn't worry
I am currently using Sky Fibre with a D7000 so by all means DM me if you have any further questions
Hopw this helps

Re: D7000 DHCP option 60 and 61 missing
Hi,
We've recently switched from BT to Sky Fibre and I'm not getting great performance on streaming video. We are using the Sky ER110 router, so I thought I'd try my Nighthawk D7000 instead, but no matter what I do, I cannot get authenticated.
- I've tried the setup wizard and going with defaults - no luck.
- I've tried manually configuring it, but can't see anywhere for option 60/71 - no luck.
- I've also seen all the posts about needing to spoof the Mac address of the Sky one and making sure the username and password are correct so I've found these with Wireshark - no luck.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Would it be possible for someone to post the basic internet setup config page from their router please as I'm guessing its just a simple selection I'm making wrong.
Thanks!

Re: D7000 DHCP option 60 and 61 missing
Sorry for the late reply.
You need to extract your username from the sky router using wireshark.
Search 'extract sky user details with wireshark' on either google or youtube and you will find guides on how to do it.
Once you have this put this in the option 61 Vendor ID string section of the D7000 internet set up screen and you should be able to authenticate on the sky network afterwards.
Hope this helps

Re: D7000 DHCP option 60 and 61 missing
If your using a sky hub and are on a vdsl connection use the serial number on the back of the sky hub as option 60 or 61. These options could also be called hostname or client identifier. Also sky use vlan 101 to connect.
Serial number should look like "A500**********"

It is a bad idea to scatter your questions all over the place:
d7000 nighthawk cannot connect to internet isp is ... - NETGEAR Communities
I'd stick with that one.
