D7800 Nighthawk unable to register for ReadyCloud - Invalid Username / Password
I am trying to register my device for ReadyCloud on my D7800 Nighthawk. I am using the latest firmware 1.0.1.42. When I input my username and password I get the following message 'Registration failed. Please check your user name and password and try again.' My username and password work on ReadyCloud website and it is a MyNetgear account. I have tried changing my password to something simple like password123 as suggested on other posts. I have also done a reset of the router and reconfigured it, but I am still having no luck. Does anyone have any other solutions, or is this just another feature with Netgear that doesn't work?

Where? In the browser interface? Using the ReadyCLOUD utility on a PC?

Is that on http://readycloud.netgear.com/?
What is the firmware on the D7800? A number is more useful than "the latest". (It may not be by the time people read this.) There can also be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.
I ask because this can influence how things like ReadySHARE work.

Re: D7800 Nighthawk unable to register for ReadyCloud - Invalid Username / Password
Hi Michaelkenward.
I am trying to register it in the browers from routerlogin.net.
I am using the latest firmware version 1.0.1.42 - I have checked for lastest updates from the routerlogin.net browser with the Firmware update assistant.
I am able to login from http://readycloud.netgear.com/

Is the device registered at MyNetgear.com?

What do you see when you get there? Is the modem-router present?

Re: D7800 Nighthawk unable to register for ReadyCloud - Invalid Username / Password
The device is registered at MyNetgear.com
When I log onto ReadyCloud, it tells my I have no registered or shared devices. It tells me to go to routerlogin.net and register my device in the ReadyCloud tab, which I am trying to do. This is when I get the message 'Registration failed. Please check your user name and password and try again.'
