DG834Gv4 router issue

I have an older modem/router, model DG834Gv4, working with an HP desktop. I am constantly receiving the error message "Cant reach this page" from the Microsoft Egde browser on Windows 10. Is the modem at fault? Is there a patch to fix this anoying nuisance? Do i need a newer modem? Whats the deal.

 Hi Darren, Yes, this "cant find the page" nonsense happens on Edge, as well as Chrome. I realize this modem/router is older, and will be happy to replace it IF i know this is the problem. I was "forced" to upgrade to Windows 10 when that rolled out, and its crap. I wonder if that is the problem and not the modem/router. Any help and/or advice you can give will be GREATLY appreciated!

It could be a issue with it being older and windows 10 do you have a tablet or phone you can try to access the modems gui from that will tell us for sure if its something to do with that pc or windows 10.

Does the browser interface car about, or even known about, the version of Windows?

 

The desktop genie, yes. That's software from Netgear. But the browser?
