Moved house. Router DG834g internet light Orange.

Moved house and brought my DG834G wireless ADSL2+ Modem Router with me. Worked fine at old house. At new place, the power, wireless and DSL lights are green and 1 is too but with the odd flicker. The internet light is orange/red though and I have no net. Called Netgear and they were going to charge $80 to reconfigure it but said I can figure out how to do it on here. Someone please help!

I would check your telephone line connection make sure its on a active outlet by plugging in a phone and checking for dialtone also make sure the outlet has a dsl filiter. you may want to also check another phone outlet could be something wrong with the outlet. if that's all good may want to do a factory reset and redo the setup on the modem.
