N300 Error message "No Ethernet cable is plugged into the Router Internet Port"
My six month old N300 has unaccountably stopped connecting to the Internet. The lights are green and my computer and devices can see the N300, but there's no connection. I checked cable and plugs and eventually reset the modem but when I started the Netgear Genie I kept getting the error message mentioned in the title. I had made no changes of any kind to my modem or computer setup before this occurred. I'm using a wifi connection to computer (IMac) and devices. Can anyone help with this?

Hello wanderboy
Are you getting a IP address or can you ping the modem while connected via Ethernet?

I can only suggest a couple more things to try like make sure your on the latest firmware and try another ethernet cord use another port If you have tried that I would then attempt a factory reset. If the issue still happens it could be a hardware issue with the modem and if its still under warranty I would then contact netgear phone support.
