Nighthawk D7000 - we are unable to connect to the internet

Hi. We have just purchased the nighthawk D7000, and we are unable to connect to the internet. All of the relevant lights are white, except for the internet light, which is Amber. Our devices are recognising the modem, and seem to connect just fine, but the internet isn't working. Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions. Cheers.

Have you fed in the username and password for your ISP?

Which ISP are you on? Have you asked them if you need to play tricks with things like the modem's Mac address?

Hi Michael Kenward,

 

You are spot on!! A few hours after posting this, my partners 15 year old son got onto it (can't live without Wi-Fi...lol) and that's exactly what he did.  Thank you so much for replying - it was very frustrating for a while there.
