I have set the option in tunnelblick to push all traffic through the VPN as well.
I am using Tunnelblick as suggested by Netgear and using MacOS sierra, ifocnifg output below

Re: VPN
Welcome to the community, @nikolaistapleto
What's the exact model number of your NETGEAR device?
Did you try to factory reset the NETGEAR and then reconfigure it from scratch?

Re: VPN
Hello nikolaistapleto
You can use VPN on nighthawk as a client but not as a server.

Re: VPN
Hi Darren
That doesnt make sense at all, my macbook is the vpn client and the nighthawk is the vpn server, how else can the connection work otherwise?
I can connect to the VPN service running on the Nighthawk D7000 fine, it just doesnt change my IP address to my static IP I have assigned by my ISP. How do I get it to to that?
