WiFi Security Level
Hi, my iPhone X has fallen out with my Netgear D6200 over the level of security it is providing for my home WiFi.
The 'Googled' answer seemed to be, to log into the Router and change the Security setting to WPA2/WPA3 Personal and the Version to WPA3-SAE
However, there is no option to change the Security setting from WPA2 and nothing for the Version.
I rebooted the Router and things have settled down, except that the iPhone keeps switching itself from the selected NETGEAR79 to NETGEAR79-5G, which works but does not have the same range.
Does anyone know if Netgear plan to upgrade the Security options on the D6200 or should I be thinking about an upgrade.
Thanks.

Re: WiFi Security Level
Upgrading to WPA3 is a hardware change. Plenty of devices are using wpa2 just fine.
Its just apple wanting to push people to newer standards/newer hardware. (apple tax)

Re: WiFi Security Level
For your future needs. Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the DSL Modem products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with DSL modems and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

Thank you.
