d6400 slow speed or not internet connection for anyone

I have had a D6400 Router and modem.  Currently have about 18% of what I should have on my internet speed.   I am able to log into the modem fine have a strong conection to the router itself on all my devices hard lined and WIFI.  I am trying to figure out if something could be wrong that the modem part is causing a slow to no connection to the interenet.  If so anything I can do to fix it.

You'll have to tell us a bit more before anyone can begin to guess what might be happening.

Is this slow LAN, wifi, both?

What sort of connection? ADSL? VDSL?

Which ISP?

Where are you making these speed tests? (A single site isn't reliable enough, I use half a dozen.)

Finally got the provider to come look at it. It was a faulty underground wire

That's good news. That happened to me a few years back. Faulty wiring up a pole.

Some phone companies give users a "test it yourself" tool. Always worth checking if it happens again.
