problem with router D1500
Good morning,
for a few days now my antivrus has been reporting to me the following malicious object every ten minutes, blocking its download:
Oggetto: http://185.38.111.1/wpad.dat
nome applicazione: svchost.exe
nome: Trojan. Script.Agent.dc
oggetto: http://wpad.domain.name/wpad.dat
motivo: database.
Il dettaglio è il seguente:

Livello di pericolosità : Alto

Data rilascio database : Oggi, 24/03/2021 06:10:00
I have written to my antivirus assistence and after some controls they have answered that the problem is in my roter (D 1500).
Many people have the same problem and all with this router.
Are you aware of this problem? what can i do to solve? I have already updated the firmware but the problem remains

As always, an actual version number would be more useful than your
opinion of what's "updated" today.
"185.38.111.1" seems to be someplace in CZ.

This is an old article but it may offer you some pointers.
Many times when someone complains that AV software says a router is dangerous, or in your case a modem.router, the problem is often down to the AV software. If you ask them about it, they will naturally blame the router because it is easier than fixing their own system.
