D6200 Firmware update fails

Hey all,

I have been trying repeatedly to update the firmware in my D6200. I can download the update through the Genie app, but am unable to install it and get a Router upgrade fail screen. So its still at version V1.1.00.30.

I am running windows 10.

I first tried reinstalling the software without removing the old copy first which did not update to the latest version.

Then completly uninstalled the current version and reinstalled the software, it's still at version V1.1.00.30. and I still can't upgarde but get the prompt that a firmware upgrade is available.

Driving me nuts 😞

This tells us nothing about what you are doing and what happens when you do it.

You refer to the genie. This could be one of several things, the browser interface, a Windows or Mac program for a PC, or a mobile Android/iThing app. Netgear labels them all as genies. Which are you using?
