I have just upgraded my modem to a D7800 and all has gone well....except for VOIP. This model does not have a VOIP plug at the back (silly me, should of checked before buying). Can't believe a high end modem does not have this functionality. As a work around, can I buy an adapter from telephone (female) to ethernet (male) cable and plug it ito a free ethernet port and get it to work? If that is a no go, I still have my old modem so can I use that for VOIP and "piggie back" off the D7800? If that is my only option, how do I "piggie back" it?
