DGND3700v2->WNDR3700
I have a DGND3700V2 acting as a DHCP and handing the incoming ADSL connection from the internet, there is a WNDR3700 acting as AP at the other end of the house using the same SSID passphrase and channels.
While connected to the DGND3700 via the wireless I am unable to access the readyshare or access the configuration of the WNDR3700. If I connect to the LAN ports of the DGND3700 I am able to access both of these. If I am connected to the wifi or the LAN ports of the WNDR3700 i can access shares on both and configuration pages for both devices.
to me it is asif there is some form of firewall running on the wndr3700 that is not allowing connections that are initiated from a wifi connection of the dgnd3700, although no matter which settings I change i cannot get it to work.
Ideas?

Re: DGND3700v2->WNDR3700
The WNDR3700 is configured the old school way of creating a AP. NOT using the AP mode.
upgraded the firmware in the WNDR3700 to Firmware Version 1.0.16.98
DGND3700V2 is running Firmware Version V1.1.00.09_1.00.09

Re: DGND3700v2->WNDR3700
As a matter of interest I note that you say "Firmware Version V1.1.00.09_1.00.09".
My understanding is that this firmware version has been pulled and that the current is effectively V1.1.00.08_1.00.08. Not sure why this is but I am showing V1.1.00.08_1.00.08 for my v2 and when I check for upgrades I receive the response that there are no newer ones.
Do not know if this is pertinent to you but thought i would mention it in case you need to downgrade to V1.1.00.08_1.00.08.

You were connected on primary SSID and not guest network correct?

I think you may have "wireless isolation" turned on dgnd3700 side.

I did notice that via the webpage, however the upgrade to .09 was done by the router when first used. will try rolling back.

Guest networks not enabled.
it is acting as if the wireless isolation is turned on however it definately is not showing as a checked box in the menus.

Re: DGND3700v2->WNDR3700
if wireless isolation is not used then should reach out but again. as repeating it may not have some bug to reach out repeated 3700.
I would also contact issues with a support via portal at my.netgear.com
