Sony UWABR100 not able to detect DGND3700 wilrless N signal
HI,
I have a Netgear Dual Band DGND3700 router transmitting N signal at 157 channels and 300mbps mode.
I also have a Sony EX550 Internet TV with Sony's UWABR100 USB internet dongle which is N compatible.
However, when I try to scan for available networks, the TV can only see the G signal and can connect. It cannot see the N signal at all.
Please help what needs to be done if I am missing any settings here.

Re: Sony UWABR100 not able to detect DGND3700 wilrless N signal
UWABR100 USB only support 2.4Ghz.
this is 5Ghz... so adapter is connecting to 2.4Ghz and must set to 54Mbps

Wifi 802.11N also exist in the 2.4 Ghz band. Once you select any speed above 108 Mbps it will be N. So it's just that your USB dongle isn't dual band but it is still N compatible.

Once you select any speed above 108 Mbps it will be N.
There is no 108Mbps settings in N router for end user to choose under wireelss mode
54, 133, 145 etc....
108Mbps only existing in super-g wireless router such as wpn824, wgt624
