d7000v2 Support - disconnected and service disabled
I was troubleshooting my D7000v2 which has daily disconnections via Netgear chat. They have mostly been very professional and curteous with me before today. During the chat, the representative asked me to flash my firmware to continue to troubleshoot the problem. After my router finished rebooting, I discovered that my phone, email, and chat support services, which were due to expire at the end of September, were all changed to expired so I cannot even continue the chat I was already in. This is quite a rude trick by Netgear and leaves me completely disatisfied. All the moreso after reading through community posts here and seeing many other D7000v2 users experiencing the same problems with a few pinpointing an improperly soldered heatsink as the cause. I now believe that I have a hardware fault and that Netgear wants me to stop complaining about it or pay for it to be taken care of. Ridiculous.
