Please be as detailed and specific as possible with me. This was all worded better before, but I have to be up again in a few hours and need to get at least a little sleep. Re: HELP, please. Repeater not working
You can not use 300Mbps on repeat.
WEP encryption must be used so 54Mbps is need it. Alternatvie it purchase
Wn2000rpt/wn3000rpt extender

Re: HELP, please. Repeater not working
Thank you for your help.
It won't work with no security?
I changed the settings to be upto 54Mbs and add a WEP key. It is still not working, any other ideas?

Re: HELP, please. Repeater not working
on the computer I have plugged into the repeater it is saying that the "DNS server is not responding".
Things plugged into the base work fine.

Re: HELP, please. Repeater not working
The base can see the computer connected to the repeater though:
3 192.168.2.101 TB-KSOUZA-D 00:25:64:05:07:9e
shows up in the list of attached devices.
but the computer does not get any some of internet connection.

Re: HELP, please. Repeater not working
I'm an idiot.
I had setup a IP reservation on the base. and used the wrong name for the device (manually entered). once I removed that and used the proper name it is now working. I'm sure the WEP issue also was a part of it, since previously the base did not see the desktop.
thank you for your assistance.
