Cannot update firmware
My router is currently at V1.01.11 of the firmware and I do not have the ability to update the firmware through the administrative page in advanced settings. My ISP doesn't have the ability to update the firmware either. How do I manually update it? There isn't a download anywhere for me to access and my ISP seemingly has no control.

Appears nobody at Netgear is able/willing to jump over it's own shadow - read there -> https://community.netgear.com/t5/Cable-Modems-Routers/Cannot-Upgrade-C3000-Firmware-with-Netgear-Genie/m-p/1411544

Indeed:
If your firmware is outdated, you cannot manually upgrade your cable modem’s or modem router’s firmware. You must contact your Internet service provider (ISP) to upgrade your firmware.

Netgear must want to keep happy users buying new Netgear products on the next shopping tour or when evaluating business grade hardware. Poor policies like these - just protecting a few designated ISPs - are not helpful.
