NetGear R6400 - shows not connected to internet but it is!

I’m having issues with my netgear router. It’s showing all my devices are connected on the genie map but there is a red line from the globe to the devices. Most of my devices are not working on WiFi. My TV goes in and out as if loosing connection. It appears there is a update for my router but it will not update. Sometimes it says up to date but later it shows the same update available. There are 6 LED lights lit up on my router. Two are blinking fast but are not always and one is blinking somewhat. I don’t know what to do to try and fix this!

    3. Do you have other devices that can go online without any issue?

    4. Have you tried resetting the router?

  • The expander works after the router is reset but a couple days later it still shows as connected in settings but my Ipad and Iphone do not connect to the wifi even though it shows a strong signal?

      1. Please indicate the exact model number and firmware version of both your router and extender.

      2. When you say "reset", are referring to doing a factory reset or just turning the device off and on?

      3. Are your devices trying to connect to the main router or the extender?

      4. Do you have other devices that work fine when connecting to either the router or the extender?
