I don’t know if the firmware versions are different for different products. I haven’t looked at the online help to see if updating firmware is covered; if not, try the network support folks. A messsage popped up on my genie telling me I had to update and then took me right to it.
Netgear, are you monitoring this forum? Your iOS genie app doesn’t work with R6100! It’s been many months since this was brought up on this forum by so many. Any updates?

I have a WNDR4300 which has yet to receive any firmware update. (It is still on V1.0.2.104, and no new version appears when checking for an update) I see the Genie iOS app has received several updates. I'm on the latest one, version 3.1.74 I was able to use it successfully to login to my WNDR4300, and can control and see my attached network devices. I haven't encountered any issues with it yet. It appears to work as intended. My problem appears to have been solved.
