FVS338 - connected to VPN, but can't ping other computers

Hi

I'm connected with the VPN set up on a FVS338 firewall. I connect everytime without any problem, but here's the thing. I can't ping any LAN machines beneath the VPN. However, I can access the firewall admin panel with the VPN, I can also access the printer panel. Also, the LAN computers connected to the FVS338 can ping me without any problem (but I can't ping them). Of course I can't access them in Windows Explorer.

Any ideas why could that be? I'm using Shrew to connect to the VPN. I tried Negear (or Greenbow) clients, but they don't seem to pass the phase2 authentication.

    Hi drakerc,

    Just a few questions:

    1. What is the current firmware version of your FVS338?

    2. What is the Operating System on your PC/laptop where the Shrew VPN Client software is installed?

    3. Is there a software firewall or anti-virus running on the PC/laptop where the Shrew VPN Client software is installed? If yes, have you tried to disable it and check if you are able to ping the LAN machines via VPN?

I look forward to your response.  Welcome to the community :smileyhappy:

    Regards,
